About Us

Wegs Wildlife is a collection of nature photos and videos taken around the world.

Andrew Wegener has been studying animals since his Primary School days. This interest led him to become a Royal Melbourne Zoo keeper before beginning his own traveling educational programs in 1978 - Australian Wildlife Lectures.
Andrew holds a Commercial Wildlife Demonstrator’s License with the Department of Sustainability and Environment, Victoria, Australia, and is also a keen wildlife photographer, fossilised shark tooth hunter, geocacher and long-suffering St Kilda supporter.

Lorraine Wegener is a keen videographer and editor. Originally a primary school and piano teacher Lorraine now administers Australian Wildlife Lectures and Wegs Wildlife and spends hours editing video footage taken on photography outings with Andrew.

Scott Wegener has been involved in all things digital since leaving high school and is the guy who looks after this website and programmed the games. He's also an app developercreative writer and the mastermind behind the corporate brainstorming business Brainwave Orchard. He now even plays a Digital Trumpet and is involved in the Geocaching digital treasure hunt.
